Use of Past Tense

Unreal Past – Unreal past is when we make our sentence like
past tense but they are not in past.
Ex; You talk as if you were a baby.
I wish you would grow up
I wish you knew how much I love you.
In this form we normally use I were and not I was
She acts as if she were rich - I dress as if I were thin.
She wishes she were rich – I wish I were thin
